Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for at least an hour. While the dough rests, cook the Swiss chard in a skillet with a little water until soft: let it cool, squeeze it dry and chop it coarsely. Put it in a large bowl with the ricotta, the grated Parmesan, the finely chopped onion and the egg: season with salt and pepper to taste and mix until the ingredients are well combined.Take the dough and divide it in half: roll out one half with a rolling pin into a very thin sheet, lay it in a 26-centimeter tart pan, press it well against the sides, drizzle it with extra virgin olive oil and pour in the Swiss chard and ricotta filling. Now roll out the remaining half of the dough and cover the pie.Trim off some of the excess dough, leaving about a couple of centimeters beyond the edge of the pan: press the edges together lightly and fold them inward, making any pattern you like. Using a skewer, prick the pie almost all the way to the bottom, brush the top with the water and oil mixed together and bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for about forty-five minutes.Once it’s ready, serve your Swiss Chard and Ricotta Savory Pie warm or at room temperature.
