  1. To prepare Pasta with Walnuts first place a pot of salted water on the stove to boil, and while the pasta is cooking, devote yourself to the sauce.

  2. Place the walnut kernels, ricotta, Parmesan, and 3 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water in a blender. Operate the machine and blend everything until smooth.

  3. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it directly into the sauce and mix everything well.

  4. Serve your Pasta with Walnuts to taste with a generous handful of Parmesan cheese.

Alternatives

To complete the dish you can also add some freshly ground pepper. Finally, you can enjoy the Walnut Sauce Pasta also chilled, perhaps adding some coarsely chopped nut kernels to add a crunchy texture.

Tips

If you are using a long pasta format we recommend adding 1-2 more tablespoons of pasta cooking water to make the walnut cream more fluid and to be able to blend it better with the pasta.

Storage

The Walnut Sauce Pasta is great eaten freshly made, to best enjoy its creaminess. Eventually you can prepare the dressing the day before as well, and should you have leftover pasta already seasoned, you can store it in the refrigerator for 1 day.
