Instructions

  1. To prepare the Turkey Meatloaf, start by roughly breaking up the bacon and soaking it in milk. When it is well soaked and has softened, squeeze it out carefully and crumble it with your hands in a large bowl.

  2. Add the ground turkey, grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, some chopped parsley, a pinch of salt, a sprinkling of pepper and a little nutmeg into the bowl. Knead with your hands until the mixture is soft but firm.

  3. Lay out a sheet of baking paper on the work surface, place the turkey mixture in the center, and close in a candy shape to create the classic meatloaf shape. Transfer to the refrigerator and let firm up for about 10 minutes.

  4. After the resting time has passed, take the meatloaf back from the refrigerator, remove the baking paper and place it in the center of an oven dish previously greased with some extra virgin olive oil.

  5. Wet the meatloaf with a drizzle of oil and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200°C) for about one hour. Once ready, take it out of the oven, let it rest for a couple of minutes and serve the Turkey Meatloaf!

You can also make Turkey Meatloaf with Chicken or, if you want to get a stronger flavor, you can replace 150 grams of Turkey Mince with the same amount of Mortadella.
