Our Oven-Roasted Pork Loin with Apples is effortless to create, requiring only a handful of easily accessible ingredients. Yet, the end result is a beautifully roasted pork loin infused with the fragrant sweetness of apples.

While our recipe emphasizes oven-roasting, culinary enthusiasts can also adapt it to the stovetop. Using a cast-iron saucepan or similar heavy-bottomed pot ensures gentle, even cooking, resulting in tender, juicy meat.

The baked apple variation on the classic pork loin offers room for creativity. Feel free to sprinkle in your favorite spices, adjusting the dish to your palate.

Instructions

  1. To prepare Pork Loin with Apples first tie with a string the Pork Loin.

  2. Once tied, season with salt and pepper and brown the loin well on all sides in a saucepan with a little olive oil, a knob of butter, the garlic cloves, sage leaves and rosemary sprigs.

  3. Smoke with the white wine and marsala, let the alcohol part evaporate and transfer to the oven and bake at 360°F (180°C) for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or at least until the meat is well cooked. While cooking, turn the arista thoroughly and add some broth as needed.

  4. Halfway through cooking, add the well-washed apples and continue until both the apples and the meat are well cooked.

  5. Once ready take it out of the oven, let the loin rest for a few moments and slice it. Remove the apples, take the pulp and arrange it, along with the cooking juices on the slices of meat. Serve your Loin with Apples warm.
