Method

  1. To make the Pork Stew, start by cutting the pork loin into cubes of a couple of centimeters, then coat them completely in flour and put them in a bowl.
  2. Wash and trim one carrot, the onion, the celery and the rosemary and chop them finely, then cook them in a pan with the butter, melted beforehand. Press in the garlic clove as well and cook for about 5 minutes, then add the meat and cook for another 5 minutes. At this point, deglaze with the beer, add salt and pepper, cover with a lid and cook for about 40 minutes.
  3. While the meat cooks, peel the potatoes and carrots, cut them into pieces the same size as the meat, add them to the pan, cover again and keep cooking for another 30 minutes. When the time is up, turn off the heat and serve the Pork Stew. Finally, remember to download our App with exclusive content and fewer ads!

Variations and Alternatives

If you like, you can replace the beer with white wine or use a different kind of beer. To make your Pork Stew even heartier, you can also add peas or mushrooms.

Tips

Cut the potatoes the same size as the meat so they cook evenly, and also to keep them from falling apart into a sort of mash.
