Cooked Fruit is often associated with flu season and feeling unwell when, in fact, if you ask us, it’s even better than a cake for a sweet end to a meal or for a little break. These Poached Pears with Coffee Caramel Sauce are a perfect example: refined and elegant, they are ideal when you have guests for dinner and want to treat them to an unusual dessert.

If you like pears poached in wine, you absolutely have to try this recipe too! Ripe Pears are cooked in a syrup scented with Cinnamon and Vanilla and then served with a Caramel and Coffee sauce made with Butter, Cream, Sugar and Espresso.
Can you think of anything more indulgent? Try them and you’ll fall in love! We also recommend serving them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which makes them even more tempting!
