Method

  1. To make the Hazelnut Truffles, start by beating the mascarpone and the sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer, then add the cocoa powder and the Nutella, which should be nice and creamy.
  2. Now break the cookies in a bowl into pieces, as small or as large as you like, and chop the hazelnuts in a food processor: add both to the bowl with the mascarpone, and finally chop the gianduja chocolate into it.
  3. Mix everything well, cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for at least half an hour. Once you take it out, shape it into balls with the palms of your hands, add more chopped hazelnuts and finally roll them in unsweetened cocoa powder to coat the truffles completely.
  4. Keep going until you have used up all the mixture, then put the Hazelnut Truffles back in the fridge until you are ready to serve them. Finally, remember to download our App with exclusive content and fewer ads!

Variations and Alternatives

For an even more unusual treat, you can use the chopped hazelnuts only to sprinkle over the truffles and leave them out of the mixture.

Tips
